WOW!I am 100% pleased with this < Portable Monitor, BOIFUN 15.6'' FHD 1080P Laptop Monitor with HDMI USB-C Port, Second External Monitor for PC, Laptop, MacBook Pro, Phone, Xbox, PS4/5, Built-in Dual Speaker, with Smart Case and Stand > [ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6PGXXK8 ].I received it just a few days ago and I set it up in conjunction with my < GUZILA Fanless Mini PC with Intel Core i5-5257U (Up to 3.1 GHz) & Windows 10 Pro,8GB RAM 128GB m-SATA SSD Mini Desktop Computer Support 2.4G/5.0G WiFi > - I have the MX Linux operating system installed on this computer, completely replacing Windows.This monitor works perfectly in conjunction with that computer. Its image quality (1080p) is excellent. Its design is superb. It is well-constructed It even has small built-in speakers which are not meant for regular use but can be used just to hear sound prior to attaching regular speakers.And the additional accessories included (cables, stand) are all that most people will ever need. Most people (including me) do not have to purchase or supply anything needed by this monitor. The manual mentions those very few accessories that certain users may want; these are rarely, if ever, needed by most people.As a bonus its user manual is one of the best I have ever read (and certainly the very best from any Chinese manufacturer in my experience).I will STRONGLY recommend that, if you buy one of these monitors, you should DEFINITELY read the manual before setting up the monitor. It is an easy read and, believe me, you will be glad that you read it before the first use. EVERY SETTING, including brightness, contrast, sound volume, etc. is fully adjustable. Once you have read the manual, you will know everything you need to know and you probably will never have to read it again.I am using a spare 15" computer case to store the monitor and its accessories.When I ordered the monitor, Amazon's price was only $169.99 which, in my opinion, is a genuine bargain price for such a good monitor.Now here is the rub: Amazon doesn't have it in stock. (They don't have my little Guzila computer, an excellent media center computer, in stock either.)This, unfortunately, is typical for Amazon's Chinese products. They are often just available for a short period and they are never again available.I do hope that this is not the case with this particular monitor. It is a new model (not even mentioned on Boifun's web site yet) and it is possible that they had a first run sent to Amazon Vine members to see how we like it.Well, to answer their "question" - it should be obvious that I like it very much (I mentioned at the beginning that I am 100% pleased with it).I sincerely hope that the Boifun company is able to quickly restock Amazon with this superb computer monitor so that anyone who desires one (and that should include YOU!) will be able to buy one. I also hope that they are able to maintain the $169.99 price but even if the price is increased a bit (just a SMALL bit I would hope), I still feel that that would continue to be a bargain price.Keep an eye on Amazon's product page and if you see that this monitor is back in stock, BUY ONE immediately.You won't regret the purchase.VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Thank you for reading this.Lawrence H. BulkI wanted a second monitor for my MacBook Pro 16" M1. It was important to me that it be about equal in size to the Mac and that the contents look roughly the same size even if it was a different resolution. This portable monitor does all of that.It's 1080p, but everything scales perfectly automatically. While the Mac is 5K, the image quality is still very good with the BOIFUN. Sitting side by side, you can tell the difference, but you have to look for it. It's not that noticeable during use. And at 15.6" the size of the Max and the BOIFUN displays are similar.The color accuracy is nice, but I don't intend to do color grading on this, so it just needs to be in the ball park, and it is. The main thing is that I just want some extra workspace when mobile without being distracted by bad color or scaling issues. This monitor is perfect for that.It claims to be 100% sRGB, which isn't that hard to do, but I didn't have the opportunity to fully test it. It's only 16.7 million color, but again that's within the scope of my needs. If I need more, I have the Mac built-in screen, and a 10-bit monitor at my desk.It supports both HDMI and USB C signal inputs. This is great versatility, and all cables for three different set-up are included. That is, USB C power and HDMI, as well as USB C power and USB C signal cables are included and working. It also supports USB C signal and power from the laptop (if the laptop supports it.) I tested this with my MacBook and it worked perfectly. One cable and everything was going.I was unable to test length of time that the single-cable configuration could run, but based on initial power drain, it looks like several hours at least. Given my needs and budget, this appears to be a perfect fit for my mobile work environment.Also included is a magnetic wrap-around case, and a detachable, height adjustable stand. The whole thing is very thin and fits in my laptop bad nicely. This is a great find, and works well with Mac. I'm very pleased with this product.
