Bad instructions, Good product so far.The two stands arrived ahead of schedule, easy to assembly as it even comes with a small wrench and large hex key.I had two egg-type hanging chairs from our previous home from a large beam. I used a galvanized chain and cut to size -- keeping seat at low center of gravity, 6-8 inches off ground. Legs are pre-drilled for securing to ground but we have not needed it, as it is well balanced. Very happy with our purchase, and would definitely recommend it to anyone.Update for Oct 2021 (4-years of life/usage, see last 3 pictures): Had a problem with one of the hanging chair stands. Tthe base T-support frame weld joints failed due to some rust. We keep these two hanging chairs under a patio but somehow moisture and water caused rust. No parts are available from the manufacturer. I found a local welding shop, and took the lower arm for re-welding and rienforcement with additional metal. I should at least twice the life now with reinforced weld joints, at least 8 -10 years now. Paid $80 for both new weld repairs.I purchased two of these stands for two large hammock chairs. Let me be really clear about this - the hammocks were NOT Hammaka brand. The ones I bought are typically referred to as "Caribbean hammock chairs" and they are BIG.Now, with that in mind, these stands are the biggest, most affordable stands I found on Amazon. (And they're Prime eligible!) They are heavy, but not so heavy that I couldn't get them inside on my own as a 5-foot-something 23-year-old girl. Assembly did require two people, since the pieces are so heavy, but mainly you just need the second person there to hold the pieces together while you tighten it all up. These stands will fit inside, but be super careful if you keep them inside, because stubbing your toe on those metal feet HURTS.So, putting them together was really easy, but when we hooked on the hammocks (S-hook not included in the stand), we found that our butts bumped the bottom of it. The type of hammocks we purchased, the Caribbean ones, slip off the wooden bar so we knotted the ends of them to raise them higher and it works out perfect for us.With a little creativity, I'm sure this stand will hold any hammock chair.I read many comments before I bought this stand for my old rattan hanging chair, the kind that looks like a big egg. The stand is easy to put together with the provided tools. The pieces are heavy, which is good for stability. This 77-year-old grandmother did it easily. I find that the joint needs to be tightened a couple of times after the chair is hung and used, as the motion makes it wobble a little. Keep the tools available, I think it will be need tightening regularly. I see the hardware starting to rust after a week, but that just keeps it tight, right? The stand will be left outside all year in Seattle rain, although the chair will be stored inside. It is stable enough for a gentle rocking motion while sitting in the chair. I had to remind the grandchildren that it is not a swing. There are attach holes for bolting it down if needed, but I am not anticipating doing this. I plan to give it a coat of De-Rusto in the autumn.Works great, though I couldn't get all 4 legs to be completely level with the concrete pad. I used concrete anchors to secure them down flush and then snugged up the bottom bolts and everything seems fine, just would have been nice to really tighten those up but it definitely made the legs unlevel when I did and put a lot of load on the anchors.Just as advertised. Stable and sturdy. Big though but we needed big for an egg chairIt’s very sturdy. Holds up well and also feels safe for the person sitting in the swing chair. We now have 2. The first one we purchased 8 yrs ago and it’s still in great shape.Stability is not a strong suit of this product. My wife enjoyed using her hanging chair at a previous home but a move left us without sufficient support to hang it. Based on other reviews I ordered the Hammika 3005 Suelo Stand for Hammock Chairs. When the product arrived I discovered assembly was super simple. Remove parts from carton, line up the cross braced feet, insert a bolt, slip in the bottom section of pole, add a couple of additional bolts, tighten, hang the swing and all that's left is to present this gift to the bride. That's when the trouble started. She sat (gingerly) in her chair, took a little swing to one side and the whole affair tipped over. My wife was left sitting, unimpressed, on the cement patio. It's odd nobody else has reported an issue like this and there are holes in the feet so the apparatus can be bolted to the floor/patio but for me that's not an option. Perhaps most just sit in the hammock chair and don't attempt to swing at all. In that case this product will serve fine. Bottom line, her pride (and more) is bruised by the experience and she won't even try the thing a second time. I've sent it back to Amazon which made the process very simple. I'd give five stars to Amazon but just two (for ease of assembly) to the product.Bought this for sensory room at school. We are on a budget and this does what we want it to do...help kids calm down. I got our maintenance guy to screw it down to the floor so no tilting. My only worry is that one of kids might hit their foot on the stand so thinking of a way to cover it. Otherwise it's a lovely swing and went around telling everyone she met about it.Came with rust not very happy about thatAlmost a year later and the chair is cheap. Not a good purchased i wouldn’t recommendThe product is really nice, I just received it and the color is perfect for my decorations. The product could use better shipping package as it is not well protected. My structure had a few minor scratches and one larger that I hope I can cover as I don't want it to get rust after one season outside. The product is heavy and strong so we will have to wait and use it a few months to get a better idea about the productVery sturdy.Fairly easy to assemble and feels very secure.
