I'm very happy with this paddle board. It's my first, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money to discover if I did or didn't like the sport. The low price concerned me though; would I get a crummy product? No! It's not crummy at all. I've only got good things to say about it and the seller.Based on the other inflatable boards I've seen it doesn't seem much different. Manually pumping it up took me about 10 minutes, but it was hard work. I ended up buying an electric pump to save back, but it's certainly not necessary. I inflate the board to about 12.5 psi (the user manual says 12 psi, label on the board say maximum is 15 psi). This creates a ridged and firm ride. I was concerned about the black pad area on the surface getting hot, but that does not seem to happen. It gets wet (at least it does after I fall off and get back on the board), so water keeps it cool.As for customer service the seller was very responsive replying with a couple hours on a Sunday, the day before 4th of July. The pump hose was damaged in shipping. Everything was very well and securely packaged, so I'm not sure how it happened. A replacement hose was sent out promptly, and I was in the water the next weekend.There are a couple reviews I read that concerned me -- one was about the board being unstable. I'm a not terribly athletic 5'11" male who weighs about 180 lbs. No issues at all maintaining stability with this board, my size and lack of experience whether I'm standing, sitting or lying on the board. I'm able to move between those positions without much difficulty. I use the board in a largish local lake with some moderate waves.Another review talked about the fins coming off. I have to work to get them off when I want to remove them. If the clips were damaged or put in the wrong direction, I might understand that happening though. Certainly not something I'm worried about anymore.I paid only $170 + tax for nearly the cheapest board on Amazon (as I write this). If I can convince one of my friends to join me, I will recommend they buy this board and from feath-r-lite even at a higher price.I was hesitant ordering but those feelings quickly went away once I received it and aired it up. I aired it up as soon as I got it to make sure there were no holes or defects. I highly recommend you do this. I also recommend purchasing the protection plan. I didn’t purchase it but do wish I had just as a precaution. I’m happy to report there were no defects and so far it has exceeded my expectations. I’ve taken it out on the water a handful of times and I love it. It is easy to blow up & deflate. It’s very lightweight when fully aired up & easy to carry. It glides very smoothly on the water and picks up speed fast. My only complaint is that I ordered the pink one and received the black one. I’m still giving this 5 stars since I love the board so much. If you have been thinking about getting one of these, get this one. You will not regret it.I really love this board. I use it on our pond so no waves or current. I’m still a little wobbly on it but I think I just need more practice. Inflates, deflates, and stores easily!This paddle board is compact and light. It’s easy to transport, inflate and deflate using the pump provided. The paddle is a bit heavy but the board is awesome.The board is very light weight, much easier to handle than my inflatable kayak was. Easy to maneuver with the large fin. Not impressed with the pump, it was easy to use but the psi gauge doesn’t work. Also, there was a small pink stain on the board when I took it out of the box, can’t get that off. Bought this for my 10yo. Overall, I think it’s a great first board for him.Great paddleboard. Great workout! Once you get over 7 psi, it gets a little more difficult to pump. I had difficulty anyhow. My boyfriend didn't. Definitely want it to atleast 10 psi as it makes it easier to paddle.My granddaughter was so happy to get this paddleboard. However, the second time she went to use it - the hose broke off the pump. The paddleboard is useless unless you can pump it up.UPDATE - The company has provided a new hose that broke off the pump. Hopefully, this will solve the problem.Developed a leak at triple seam in rear after 2 months and about 10 inflation cycles. Convinced it had a cut in the bottom right out of the box but couldn't prove it so we patched and moved on. Still trying to solve the rear seam issue as it isn't a simple patch.Update...seller is standing behind their product and willing to replace or refund. Changed to 4 stars.
